Here at Handshake, we’re always rolling out product enhancements to make early talent recruitment even easier for you and your team. As we look ahead to 2022, we’re excited to announce new features that help you determine the ROI of your recruiting activities, reach more students after they graduate, and connect with more schools that fit your job criteria. Check out what’s new this month!
Determine the ROI of your recruiting activities
With 2022 around the corner, there’s no better time to reflect on all of your recruiting activities from this past year—from career fairs to virtual events to candidate engagement and beyond. To help you calculate the ROI of your hard work, we launched Applicant Analysis, which equips you with data-driven insights to deduce how your interactions may have influenced your applicant pool.
And this doesn’t just include applications from Handshake. Starting this month, you’ll be able to effectively quantify the impact of your recruiting activities on applicants who applied through external application links. Now, you have one complete picture of all your interactions with your applicants — regardless of where they submitted their application.
Available for all employers on Handshake Premium.
Find your top candidates more easily
With over 9.9MM students across 1,400+ education partners on Handshake today, you have an incredible network of potential candidates at your fingertips.
Incredible…but also daunting. How do you know if you’re reaching the right candidates for the right jobs? Which schools should you focus your energy on next year?
To help you answer these questions, we’re thrilled to introduce School Recommendations later this month. Available through your Jobs page, School Recommendations give you insight into which schools you should connect with based on the number of students that fit your job location and preferences. With School Recommendations, you can connect with more schools to improve the visibility for your jobs—and ultimately reach more students that meet your job criteria.
Supporting personal email addresses for students
Education and career development is no longer linear. As students move from one institution to another, or from institution to industry and back again, they have a continuous reason to use Handshake and connect with employers hiring for top talent.
For that reason, we’re now giving students the option to add personal email addresses to Handshake in addition to their .edu accounts. By making it easier for students to stay in the Handshake network long term, this update will give your team access to quality candidates—even after they graduate.
