The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) developed a pre-fair student survey for their most recent virtual fair. The survey included terms students were asked to agree to in order to register—the goal was to decrease no shows and encourage students to test their technology in advance. Check out the statements students were asked to agree to here.
As a result, the check-in rate for 1:1s at the fair was 99%—this was an increase of 13% from fairs in the past. Overall, they facilitated 3,800 total student-employer connections at the fair. Kudos to RPI!
