Here’s how to start:

  1. Add in Access Your Potential Student to the organizations section of your profile. This is how employers will know you’re in the program and be able to connect with you.
  2. If you have completed the curriculum as a part of Access Your Potential, add Access Your Potential Career Readiness Curriculum to the coursework selection in your profile.
  3. Add your personal email address (not your school email address) to your profile that is associated with your Access Your Potential participation.
  4. Search for employers!

500,000 jobs is a lot – so here are some tips to narrow your search.

  • Is location important – a region or a specific city?  Example: Type in “Pacific Northwest” or “Los Angeles”
  • What’s your major or area of focus – you can filter jobs that way – type in “Engineering” or “Finance”, for example
  • Interested in a specific type of role? Enter the job title or related keywords in the search bar
  • If there are multiple areas that are important to you – click “All Filters” and select the criteria you want to filter by (e.g. job type, industry, etc)

Numerous organizations are working to continue advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in their organizations. We know this—along with other factors—can be important criteria when evaluating careers. Check out the resources below to help identify organizations that may be of interest to you:
