Learn how to use the STAR interview method in less than one minute!

Nervous for your job or internship interview? Don't be! There's an easy framework to keep in mind that can help you answer behavioral interview questions: the STAR interview method. Behavioral questions, which interviewers ask to get a sense of how you handle tasks and situations at work, might look like this:

  • "Give me an example of a time you faced a conflict at work. How did you resolve it?"
  • "Tell me about a time when you thought: 'This just isn't working.' How did you work to improve the situation?"
  • "Tell me about a time when you were under a lot of pressure at work. How did you get through it?"

By following the STAR interview method, you can make sure your answers to behavioral questions are impactful! Just remember STAR: situation, task, action, and result. Watch below to learn more about how this strategy can help you during your next interview. Then, be sure to follow us on TikTok and Instagram for more tips and interview advice!
